Winning Idea Could Boost Economic Development in North-Central Indiana

The next big economic boost in north-central Indiana could come from a pill-packaging manufacturer, a natural body care company, an alternative fuel producer, or another of the 11 top ideas that made it to the final round of a regional business plan competition.

The 11 finalists, selected through a series of "elevator pitch" competitions, competed for a $25,000 grand prize and a shot at bringing their idea to life during presentations May 2.   Click here to read more

The winner of the first place prize and $25,000 was Shane Fimbel of the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, the second place and $10,000 winner was Allyson Faucett of Hillsboro, and the third place and $5,000 winner was Patrick Cooley of Peru.

Incubicity Launched November 5, 2007
